Jennifer is an avid runner and sport enthusiast who found her passion for
yoga by accident. Her journey into yoga began in 2006 when being overwhelmed
with lifes activities, she looked up and saw the Yoga Mala
sign and decided to stop by for a class. Experiencing a sense of awakening
and belonging she felt a need to explore the practice further. She has become
a passionate and dedicated practitioner who is equally passionate about inspiring
others to explore the health and wellness benefits of yoga. She has come to
strongly believe in the following sayings - 'If not now, when?' (The
Talamund) and 'Nothing really worth having comes quickly and easily; If
it did, I doubt that we would ever grow.' (Eknath Easwaran).

Danette Exner was introduced to yoga a number of years ago, but it was when
she took her first ashtanga class that she knew had found the right fit. Completing
her teacher training allowed her to further her practice on a different level,
and as a high school teacher, teaching yoga also seemed like a natural fit.
Danette completed her teacher training in the summer of 2006, and began at
Yoga Mala in the fall of 2008. She believes that there is a style of yoga
out there for everyone; each person just needs to search and find the practice
that is right for them. She is very excited to be a part of the Yoga Mala
community.
