Classes

Yoga Mala provides a variety of classes to suit all skill levels. Classes are offered throughout the day and drops in are always welcome. The studio supports a drop in style of practice that allows to the student to work around their busy and changing schedules. Throughout the year sessions are offered to provide the student access to a more personal and interactive teaching style. These sessions are 4 to 6 weeks in duration and provided through the Yoga Mala Learning Center.

All levels of students are welcome as Yoga Mala provides an environment where each student’s practice is their own and each student can make adjustments for their own body. Yoga Mala has mats for rent but if you have your own mat please bring it along with you. Yoga Mala also provides water for students but request that students bring their own bottle as we are trying to be green.

The temperature in the studio can vary depending on the season. Please dress in something that is comfortable to move in and allows your body to breath. Closer fitting clothing ideally with stretch is preferable to reduce gapping. Please feel free to bring a sweater to wear during Savasana if you like, however the studio does provides blankets if the students like to use them as props or as cover for Savasana.
